Showroom
See It. Touch It. Decide with Confidence.
Choosing materials from a catalog is guessing. Choosing materials from a 2-inch swatch is slightly better guessing. At Turn Key Designs, we built a full luxury showroom so you can make every material decision with your own eyes and hands, not from a screen.
Our showroom is located at 219 S Main Street, Lombard, IL 60148, right in downtown Lombard. Free parking is available. We are a short drive from Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Villa Park, Downers Grove, and communities throughout DuPage County.
What You Will Find Inside
Cabinetry
Full-size cabinet door displays in every style we offer: shaker, slab, raised panel, beadboard, and more. Open the drawers. Feel the soft-close action. Compare painted finishes against stained wood grains side by side. We carry options from entry-level semi-custom to fully custom cabinetry, so you can see the quality difference between tiers in person before deciding where your budget goes. If you are deciding between custom and stock options, our custom cabinets vs. stock cabinets guide is a good starting point before your visit.
Countertops
Full slabs and large-format samples of quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, and butcher block. Small swatches do not show veining patterns, surface movement, or how a material catches light at different angles. Our samples are large enough to give you a real sense of what a full countertop surface will look like in your kitchen or bathroom. We carry products from manufacturers like Cambria, Caesarstone, and Silestone, and our countertop materials comparison guide covers the durability, maintenance, and cost differences between each material type.
Flooring
Walk on the actual flooring options we install. Hardwood species from red oak to walnut. Luxury vinyl plank in over a dozen colorways. Laminate, porcelain tile, and natural stone. See how each material looks under showroom lighting, feel the texture underfoot, and compare thickness and quality grades between products. The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recommends seeing hardwood samples at full plank width before purchasing, which is exactly how we display them.
Hardware and Fixtures
Cabinet pulls, knobs, faucets, showerheads, and light fixtures. These are the details that define a finished space, and they are almost impossible to evaluate from a photograph. Pick them up. Feel the weight. See how a brushed gold pull looks against a white shaker cabinet door versus a navy slab front. These small decisions have an outsized impact on the final look, and making them in person eliminates second-guessing.
Tile
Backsplash tile, shower tile, and floor tile in full-size format. Subway, mosaic, large-format porcelain, and natural stone options. We display them in combination layouts so you can see how grout color, pattern, and scale work together. For bathroom remodeling and kitchen remodeling projects, the tile selection often defines the character of the room, so getting it right matters.
Why the Showroom Matters
We have watched too many homeowners spend thousands of dollars on materials they have never seen in person and regret the choice the moment installation is complete. A countertop that looked warm on a website looks cold in a north-facing kitchen. A cabinet color that seemed perfect on a tiny chip looks completely different at full-door scale. A floor that appeared light on screen reads much darker in a room with limited natural light.
Our showroom eliminates that risk. Every major material decision for your project happens here, in person, with our design team guiding you through the options and explaining the trade-offs. When you approve a material in our showroom, you know exactly what you are getting. That certainty is a core part of our design-build process and the reason we invested in building a physical showroom rather than relying on digital tools alone.
The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) consistently advises homeowners to view materials at full scale before committing, particularly for surfaces like countertops and tile that are difficult to visualize from small samples. Our showroom was designed with that guidance in mind.
